Privacy Policy

The short version: this website collects nothing about you as you browse — no cookies, no analytics, no trackers. The only personal information it handles is what you choose to type into the contact form, and that goes straight to Harriet so she can reply.

Who we are

Beauty Culture is run by Harriet Skelton, a sole trader, at 1 Werstan Close, Poolbrook, Malvern, WR14 3NH. Harriet is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact her about anything in this policy on 07952 867162 or through the contact form.

This policy covers this website only. Information you share during treatments and consultations is looked after separately, in confidence, at the salon.

What we collect, and why

The only information this website collects is what you enter in the contact form: your name, telephone number, email address and message. It is used for one purpose — responding to your enquiry and arranging any appointment that follows. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in replying to people who get in touch (and, where you're asking about a booking, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract).

To keep the site fast and secure, our hosting provider briefly processes technical information such as your IP address when serving pages and filtering spam. This is not used to identify or profile you.

Please don't include sensitive health details in the contact form — anything like that is better discussed in confidence at your consultation.

Where your information goes

Form submissions are emailed directly to Harriet. The website itself keeps no copy — there is no database behind it. Two service providers carry the message on the way, acting under contract as processors:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the website and screens the form for spam
• Resend, Inc. — delivers the email to Harriet's inbox

Both are US companies; transfers of UK personal data to them are protected by UK-approved safeguards (the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or the ICO's International Data Transfer Addendum). Your information is never sold or shared with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Your enquiry stays in Harriet's email for as long as it's needed to deal with your enquiry and any bookings that follow. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking of any kind — which is why there is no cookie banner to click.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how it's used, or receive a copy in a portable form. Just ring or use the contact form. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
